PREPOSITION

The first shoot. There is something that I can’t capture. I try the second time and I find other possibilities, and then I have a shoot the third and fourth times over and over again. In her case, we’ve had a photo shoot more than ten times. I tried so many times to put her photos together into a photobook, but it’s very likely to end up being a several books. This is the commemorable first book in her series. I’ve taken many photos so far in many different rooms in many different places, but I was actually a little nervous this time. Her attractive point is a mixture of femininity, masculinity, adultness, and childishness and she has various atmospheres such as urban and wild. That’s why I want to have a photo shoot with her again and again.

1回だけの撮影じゃ撮りきれない何かがあって、2回目に挑んで更に他の可能性を見つけて、3回目、4回目と何度も撮影を重ねることがある。彼女の場合、十数回撮影してきた。それらをまとめようと何度も挑戦したけど、結局数冊になりそう。これは彼女のシリーズの記念すべき1冊目。これまでいろんな場所のいろんな部屋で撮りためてきたけど、実は毎回少しだけ緊張してた。彼女は、女性性・男性性・大人性・子ども性が不思議と混ざり合ってるのが非常に魅力的で、都会的だったり野性的だったりいろんな雰囲気を持ってる。だから何度も撮りたくなるのだ。
